Synopsis:
A group of friends join a guide for a trek into the Bolivian jungle, searching for an Indian village. The men soon realize that the jungle is a difficult place to be.
The Work
Reed Raft, Asriamas Village
The first step was to research traditional raft-building techniques used by indigenous people. I studied photos and videos of local river communities, especially from Bolivia, because the script locates the story there. The village had to look authentic and be able to convey the story’s narrative and provide context to the characters.
